Vince YoungVincent Paul Young, Jr. (born May 18, 1983 in Houston, Texas), commonly Vince Young, or "VY", was long viewed as an up and coming star of the NFL. A dual-threat quarterback, he regained the job of starting quarterback for the Tennessee Titans after the team started the 2009 season with an 0-6 record. He, then, led the Titans to 5 straight victories. Following the season, he was named Comeback Player of the Year by the Sporting News. After an apparent collapse in late 2010, he was benched again. Though he seemed to have support at the top of the organization, his future with the Titans ended and he signed on with the Philadelphia Eagles where he will back up Michael Vick.

Young was drafted by the Tennessee Titans as the #3 overall pick in the 2006 NFL Draft on April 29, 2006. He was awarded honors in his rookie season: NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year and a roster spot on the AFC Pro Bowl team. On April 17, 2007, EA games announced that Vince Young would be on the cover of their NFL video game franchise Madden NFL 2008.¹
